1939 Austin 10 Cambridge

Austin 10 Cambridge 1939 ripe for restoration or could be used as is, with very little work, this car has been in storage for most of its life only covering 13,000 miles and is a one owner registered car!

General condition is amazing paintwork is original you can still see gold pin lines down the sides!
The only faults i can see are some small dents in the back of the roof due to part of a garage roof collapsing (easy fix as headlineing requires replacement) two small holes in the bottom of rear doors
and a front side light lens missing.

This car runs like a sowing machine starts and drives lovely all lights horn, and wipers are working , but obviously requires recomissioning properly for the road.

According to the Austin drivers Club web site this model was produced from 1936-39 and in 1939 the hand brake lever was moved to the centre as it is in this car, so making this a late but one year only of its type, they also say the next redesigned model with aligator bonnet came out in that year 1939!

In all a great chance to own a piece of 1930's british motoring history, Another angle on this car is its perfect to covert to a military staff car being of the right era.

This vehicle has the original spare, starting handle, wheel brace, turn key and sevice manual.
It is our opinion that this car has some of its original tyres fitted and inflated.
