1926 Aussie Chev Ute (a good Project Car)

Found this on EBay.

The highest bid of $1,625 was not above reserve, and I suspect the seller may be looking for around $2,500 to $3,000. A lot of work has been done, but still a lot to do.

Being a Ute, the amount of panels required will be less and Aussie reproductions are available. I would want to know the condition of the motor, gearbox and diff.

A lot of work has gone into the new tray, but why use pine for the bearers?

This could be a good winter project, Yes? No?

The EBay description reads........

1926 Chevrolet Ute project,
Heaps of spare parts just about two of everything.
Has Id Plate
Powder coated chassis, powder coated steel rims with brand new 21 x 4.50 Tyres, tubes and rust bands. New wheel bearings, New rear drums, New radiator.
All wood is new including floor seat and Ute tray
To much to list.
Car is located in Parafield Gardens South Australia.
