1928 Chevy Sprint Single Seater


Custom Made – Completed in 2003
 
Used occasionally for hillclimbs and for open road fun. Arizona plates.
Engine
1928 Chevrolet 4 banger with Olds 3 port head
Displacement 190 ci. Comp ratio 6.6 : 1
Model B crank drilled for full pressure to bearings and rods
Insert bearings
Crower rods
Aluminum flywheel with steel clutch surface. Built in harmonic damper.
Twin SU carburetors
Aluminum radiator with electric fan and fluid recovery tank
12v alternator
Instruments – Tach, oil pressure, water temp, ammeter, turn signals
Engine modifications done by Ron Kelley
Transmission - Five speed T5
Brakes – Hydraulic
Wheels – Kelsey Hayes powder coated
Rear axle – 1948 Ford
Front axle – dropped Willys
Steel body with aluminum hood
7 gal gas tank with stop cock
Battery isolate switch
Detachable headlights
Car is in pristine condition and located in Tucson, Arizona
